SAFETY IN ACTION, THE SAFETY SHOW and WA SAFETY SHOW are free trade only events. Entry is restricted to bonafide members of the health and safety industries and over the age of 16.
Some examples of who should attend are:
Health & Safety Managers, CEO's, Directors, Owners, Purchasing Officers, Project Managers, Production Managers, Site Managers, Risk Managers, Maintenance/Operations Managers, Training Mangers, Warehouse Managers, Logistic and Transport Specialists, Construction and Manufacturing Workers, Foremen, Site Inspectors, Building Managers and Government Agencies.
Business ID may be required upon entry eg. Business card, letterhead or company documentation containing your company ABN. You may also be asked for personal identification such as a drivers licence to substantiate your identification.
Those not involved in the health and safety industries will not be admitted. Selling or promotion of products/services to exhibitors is not permitted. No photography or sketching permitted. Students will not be registered.
Yes, all Trade Visitors must register for the Trade Show. You may register online or you can register by completing the registration form attached to the Trade Invitations. If you have not received a Trade Inviation and would like to be sent one, please call +613 9654 7773. Alternatively you can register for the Trade Show when you arrive, however to avoid queues we recommend you pre-register.

If you register online you will receive an email confirmation that gives you a summary of your registered details as well as your unique registration identification number. Your Visitor Access Card will be mailed directly to you before the Trade Show.
If you fax your registration, your registration will be processed and your Visitor Access Card mailed directly to you before the Trade Show.
All Visitor Access Cards will commence being mailed a month prior to the event. If you do not receive your Visitor Access Card before the Trade Show, you can collect it from the onsite registration desk located near the entrance to the Trade Show.
Note that the Organiser reserves the right to cancel invalid registrations to ensure that entry is limited to bonafide Trade Visitors.
Yes, if you need to check what details have been registered please telephone the Organiser, Australian Exhibitions & Conferences on tel +613 9654 7773. Alternatively, your registration details can be altered when you arrive at the Trade Show at the onsite registration desk located near the entrance. You won't need to complete another registration form, simply present you Visitor Access Card & business identification at the counter.
Registered Visitors may obtain a replacement Visitor Access Card at the registration counter without filling out another registration form. You will already be on our database. Just bring business identification with you.
Students enrolled in a occupational health and safety course at a tertiary level or registered apprentices may attend Safety In Action on Thursday 22 April 2010 if they have the appropriate student identification card.
Any groups larger than 6 students must apply in writing to the Organiser for approval. Email safety@aec.net.au
Students should not register to attend, but simply present their student identification at the registration desk at the entrance to the Show.
Trade Show entry is restricted to Trade Only. Children under 16 may attend free of charge if accompanied by an adult at all times. There are no child minding facilities available at the venue.
Yes, there are events/features designed to inform and entertain you whilst visiting the Trade Show.

There are a number of travel options to get you to and from the show venues.
Most International Visitors to Australia will require a Visa to enter the country. For Government details on Visas visit Australian Government Immigration site at www.immi.gov.au Remember if you need to make a Visa Application make sure you do so well in advance as there is usually a processing period involved.
At each event expect to see 100s of manufacturers and suppliers with workplace health and safety products inlcuding new and innovative ways to improve workplace performance.

Yes, visitors to The Safety Show, Sydney can collect 1 CPD point per hour of attendance at the Show. Visitors MUST collect a proof of attendance from the Dome (main) Foyer as they leave the Show, which will serve as their record.
